Turkey: Mike Trout
When you think of Thanksgiving, the first thing that comes to mind is turkey. Everyone is amazed when the big brown turkey hits the table. The turkey is the biggest and best food on the Thanksgiving dinner table. In this case, my turkey is Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout.
Trout is hands down the best player on the planet. Of course there are plenty of others in the race such as Andrew McCutchen, Josh Donaldson and Bryce Harper are all in the race, but no one can do what Mike Trout does. Trout hits for power, plays stellar defense, has speed, hits for average, and has a strong outfield arm.
Throughout Trout’s career thus far, he is hitting .304/.397/.559, with 139 home runs, 143 doubles and 113 stolen bases in just 652 games played. Trout has also won a Rookie of the Year award, an MVP award, three Silver Slugger awards and two All-Star game MVP awards in four appearances.
Trout is the biggest star in baseball right now and is the guy everyone wants to see giving him the title of turkey on my Thanksgiving table.
