Five Reasons to be Thankful for Opening Day

Thanksgiving is upon us. Millions of Americans will celebrate the day by spending time with family, eating turkey, watching the Detroit Lions find creative ways to love, and saying what they are thankful for.

We here at Baseball Essential wanted to take some time and say what we are thankful for when it comes to the great game we cover. Baseball, in and of itself, is something to be thankful for every single day, but in particular, I am thankful for Opening Day.
