Miami Marlins: A full season of Giancarlo
Giancarlo Stanton is a rare talent. His raw power is unreal and the beauty of his home runs is absolutely majestic. His only problem has been his inability to stay healthy.
Should Giancarlo stay healthy for an entire season, he certainly has a shot to push 50 home runs. The Marlins could use some pop like that in their lineup. Justin Bour’s emergence as a power threat was a bright spot for a poor Marlins team last season but they finished the season with just 120 home runs, second worst in baseball.
The Marlins are coming off their sixth consecutive losing season and do not look to be in a position to be much better next year. That said, a full, healthy season from Giancarlo Stanton would be good for the Marlins and good for baseball.
