Tampa Bay Rays: A new outdoor stadium (preferably without catwalks)
If the Rays are ever going to celebrate a World Series championship, they need a good stadium in which to do so. Right now, they don’t have that. Tropicana Field is widely regarded as one of the worst stadiums in baseball, and rightfully so. I mean, why have a DOME in FLORIDA? The Rays don’t even play in the rainy part of Florida!
Their young pitching staff is very talented, highlighted by ace Chris Archer. Offensively, the Rays have always struggled. For some reason, the super geniuses running the farm system are only capable of developing extremely talented starting pitching. Tampa Bay posted the second fewest runs scored in the American League last year, leading only the Chicago White Sox. They need to improve in that aspect of the game if they want to compete with the Blue Jays, Yankees, Orioles, and Red Sox in the AL East.
Stocking Stuffers: I can’t think of any stocking stuffers for the Rays. I’m too distracted by Kevin Kiermaier’s eyes.
