As the Athletics moved out to Kansas City, they brought a classic style with them in 1955. The uniforms stayed true to the look they had in their last season in Philadelphia.

The home white uniforms featured “Athletics” in a larger cursive script with the tail, in red with blue trim. The tops had a blue yoke trim around the neck and placket. On the back of the jerseys the player number was red with blue trim.

It was the exact same look on the gray road uni’s. Both tops also had an elephant logo patch on the left sleeve, which was a great accent.

The hat was navy blue, with a red button and the red with white outline “A”. In 1960, the team made the hat logo a red “KC”.
