9. 2B Daniel Murphy
We all know the incredible postseason Daniel Murphy had that led the Mets to the World Series. But teams can’t expect a full season of that kind of power from Murphy. What they can expect is a solid second basemen (can also play third), to hit in the .280-.300 range and rarely strike out. He is a good fit for a team in need of a second basemen, and a left-handed bat.
Prediction: Nationals, 4 years, $48M
