Ian Desmond is coming off the worst season of his career, but he still is expected to get paid. From 2012-2014, he averaged 23 home runs and 81 RBIs. That kind of power is hard to come by at the SS position. Ian Desmond is very well respected throughout the game and whatever team ends up signing him will be expecting a big year.
