- The Los Angeles Dodgers will do something big
After being beat out by the Diamondbacks for Zack Greinke and losing out on Aroldis Chapman at the last minute, the Dodgers are grinding their teeth. The team is like a bloated volcano ready to explode. A major move or flurry of moves is surely on the horizon.
The team has a fantastic farm system and has been stockpiling prospects like they are close to a mega deal. Jose Fernandez has been long rumored to be the Dodgers’ main target, but the Marlins are reportedly holding on to hope that the Dodgers will part with Corey Seager. The Dodgers don’t intend to move the young shortstop but have plenty of talented young players the Marlins could covet.
With a crowded outfield that consists of Yasiel Puig, Carl Crawford, Andre Ethier, Scott Van Slyke, Joc Pederson and Enrique Hernandez, the Dodgers could move an outfielder. Crawford and Ethier are the most likely, but the Dodgers would probably have to eat some money if they move either costly outfielder. One thing is for sure, the Dodgers are going to do something.
