As the White Sox ditched the collared pullover, they decided to try stripes with their new set. While it may not be the most popular set the team wore, they had a few successful seasons in these duds.

Both the home white and road gray uniforms shared the same look. Running across the torso and sleeves was a red-blue-red stripe. Nearly reminiscent to the Montreal Canadiens sweater. “Sox” ran across in white letters. On the left pant leg was the player number in red. On the back the player name was arched while both that and the number were in navy.

Chicago had two different hats. At home was the navy with white front and red brim hat. On the road it was the navy and red brim lid.
