The Early ’60s Look: 1958-1962
As the team went from being a contender to falling back into the cellar, the uniforms took a hit.
The home white and road gray uniforms both had “Indians” in a peaked, arched script. Cursive was out as the block letter took over. The home uni’s were pinstriped while the road was a plain gray.
The wishbone “C’ was on the hat for a majority of the time. For 1962, the Chief Wahoo in the “C” returned.
