By 2006, the Royals got back to their best look. All in all, it’s better to go with a clean simple look than go with something bold.

The home whites dropped the added trim, so it was back to “Royals” blue.

“Kansas City” (back) went to a royal cursive script with the white outline. It is a much improved look than the last run of road uni’s.

The “Royals” script royal blue uniforms remained in the rotation. Though a blue jersey with “KC” on the left chest was added in 2014. Even better was seeing powder blue return to the Kansas City wardrobe.

The updated “KC” alternate logo patch stayed on the sleeves.

Keeping with tradition, there was no change to the iconic “KC” royal lid. Added with the alternates was a powder blue with royal bill “KC” lid. Not too shabby.

Classic Threads will finish the AL Central with the Minnesota Twins
