Shades of Green: 1994-1999

As the Brewers embraced the new uniform colors and designs of the nineties, baseball fans lost the fun loving colors and logos of yesterday. The Brewers added a tough element to their duds.
The home jerseys, in plain white, had a more aggressive “Brewers” script in navy with a gold and green outline. The navy spoonhead gave the top some definition. A front player number was added later on.
The road jerseys, also with a navy spoonhead had “Milwaukee” in the same color scheme as the home jersey. A front player number was added the same season as the home’s.
They also wore a navy alternate jersey. It had “Brewers” on the front but instead of a player number underneath (until 1997), it had the new logo.
The team went through a few hats in this era. At first, an all navy and navy with green bill new “MB” logo was worn. This was replaced with the all navy block “M” in white. A very forgettable look.
