Minor Additions

Steve Clevenger – acquired from the Baltimore Orioles in the Mark Trumbo trade. He can play both behind the plate and at first base.

Justin De Fratus – signed a one-year contract and will compete for a bullpen spot.

Daniel Robertson – claimed off waivers from the Angels. Dipoto knows Robertson well and he will likely be organizational outfield depth.

Anthony Bass – acquired along with Martin from the Rangers. The M’s have given Bass permission to pursue options in Japan.

Luis Sardinas – acquired via trade from the Brewers, will provide depth in the infield.

Ryan Cook – signed a one-year deal and will compete for a bullpen spot.

Joe Wieland – acquired via trade from the Dodgers and provides organizational starting pitching depth.

Brad Mills – signed to a minor-league contract.

Jonathan Aro – acquired along with Wade Miley from the Red Sox. A relief pitching prospect that Dipoto scouted in his brief stint in the Red Sox front office.

Donn Roach – signed to a minor-league contract, will provide organizational depth.
