By this time the Orioles were fully embracing the double knit, synthetic materials of the era.

Both the home and road uniforms had a symmetric look. The cursive “Orioles” script did not change. The front number was still there along with the back name and number scheme.

The team wore an orange pullover now and then.

The bird mascot logo remained the same but now the hat featured a white front panel. Briefly in the 1975 and 1976 seasons, the orange panel front was worn with the alternate top.
