9. Kyle Schwarber – Chicago Cubs (22)
Much of last spring’s discussion on the plentiful supply of top prospects coming through the ranks for the Cubs held the consensus opinion that Kyle Schwarber would be the odd man out of sorts. It was expected that he would eventually be used as a trade piece to obtain some help for the pitching staff, but after last season’s performance that talk is all but dead. Schwarber slugged 16 home runs with 49 RBIs in just 69 games in 2015. Schwarber’s most impressive performance was in the postseason, where he hit five home runs in just nine postseason games.
