A Timeless Classic: 1946-1971

At this point we get to the classic look of the Boston Red Sox.
The home white uniforms kept the same design. The red spoonhead, the red with navy “Red Sox” script stayed on the jersey.
On the road grays, the same thing can be applied. “Boston” was still in a navy script, keeping the plain gray clean. A red outline was added to the front script in 1969.
The team, albeit, briefly wore zippered jerseys home and away.
The Sox hat was updated. The “B” logo was a thin red with a fine white outline on the letter. It was a cleaned up version than worn earlier in the era.
