As the league was going and away from flannel and going to V-neck tops, the Yankees did very little. Besides the material changing, the only addition of navy and white stripes on the cuff of the road sleeve was it. It’s hard to imagine the Yankees going to a pullover jersey.

The home white uniforms kept the same look. The white with navy pinstripes along with the navy “NY”, nothing was going to change there.

The gray road uniforms kept a similar design as well. The arched “New York” script stayed on the front. White trim added to the front logo and the back uniform number was the newest addition.

Still no change to the team’s navy hat.
