Like Ryan Howard, it wasn’t long ago Dan Uggla was a good baseball player. His glove and average were never great, but he would make up for it by hitting 30 home runs every year.

Between 2006 and 2011, Uggla hit 190 home runs with the Florida Marlins and Atlanta Braves. Since then, he has hit 45 home runs and his glove just keeps getting worse. There are bad fielders, and then there’s Uggla. He makes Marcus Semien look like Ozzie Smith (okay maybe not that far).

Uggla’s batting average used to be respectable, but now it’s just horrid, as he has compiled a whopping 43 hits over the past two seasons. All this makes it even more laughable that he was given a World Series ring with the Giants in 2014.
