If Grady Sizemore had been able to stay healthy, he would have probably made a lot of real All-Star teams. The problem is that after 2009, that hasn’t been a possibility. He played only 104 games in 2010 and 2011 and was out of the league entirely during 2012 and 2013. He came back to play the last two seasons, but not in their entirety.

When healthy, Sizemore was a great player. He had four seasons with over 20 home runs including one with 33 homers in which he also stole 38 bases. A lot of players make this list because of funny characteristics or because they aren’t very good. Sizemore makes it because he has grown to be a player of pity among fans.
