Jabari Blash:

Jabari Blash is interesting, to say the least. He is 26, and has never played above Triple-A. He was a Rule 5 pick by the Athletics, only to be moved in the deal that sent them Yonder Alonso. The interesting part about Blash is that he has a substantial amount of power and is very athletic. Last year in Triple-A he slashed .264/.355/.640 with 22 home runs (totaled 32 between Double-A and Triple-A) and had 47 RBIs (81 between Double-A and Triple-A). His power is real. With high power, you often get a greater number of strikeouts, and Blash does that 27.6% of the time. He could very well be one of those guys who gets held back by his lack of contact and become a 4-A/bench bat piece. With a good spring, however, Blash could very well get his opportunity to play every day.
