Randy Choate (40) LHP, 0.1 WAR
Tyler Clippard (30) RHP, -0.1 WAR
Tommy Hunter (29) RHP, 0.3 WAR
Ryan Webb (29) RHP, 0.2 WAR
Ross Ohlendorf (33) RHP, 0.2 WAR
Bobby Parnell (31) RHP, 0.0 WAR
Kyle Lohse (37) RHP, 0.7 WAR
Jeremy Guthrie (36) RHP, 0.4 WAR

Total: 1.8 WAR

The most prominent name on this list is Tyler Clippard, but he is actually projected to have a negative WAR in 2016. He was most recently linked to the Tampa Bay Rays and Arizona Diamondbacks. Clippard was having a very solid 2015 season with the Oakland A’s, but seemingly lost his touch a bit when he was traded to the New York Mets. Ross Ohlendorf might be the most intriguing name on this list despite being relatively unknown. After not playing in the majors in 2014, Ohlendorf appeared to have found a second life with the Texas Rangers in a relief role. He managed a 3.72 ERA in 19.1 IP and his obscure delivery seems to throw hitters timing off.

Desmond is more likely to be playing in Japan than getting a deal that he turned away fromt the Nats a few years or the same as his QO last year. Guy has an agent who has his head in the clouds.
