10. Brady Lail, RHP, 22, Drafted in the 18th round in 2012 draft out of Bingham HS
Lail, like Fowler, was drafted in the 18th round, yet finds himself near the top of the Yankees prospect list. Consistency is the reason Lail is at this spot. He pitched in Double-A most of 2015, posting a 2.45 ERA in 106.1 IP. The Yankees saw what they wanted from Lail in Double-A and promooted him late in the season to Triple-A where he posted a 4.62 ERA in 37 IP. While his ERA could have been lower in Triple-A, he held his own. Lail will not blow hitters away, which is a main reason why he is not higher on this list. Nonetheless, he could prove to be much needed rotation insurance later in the season.
