14. Bryan Mitchell, RHP, 24, Drafted in the 16th round in 2009 draft out of Rockingham County
Mitchell is an enticing prospect because he has the ability to cause swing and misses from anyone. His fastball consistently touches the upper 90s and he has a very good curveball that helps keeps hitters off balance. Mitchell reached the Bronx for the first time in 2015 and proved to be a formidable option out of the bullpen. Mitchell could make the bullpen out of Spring Training or he could be sent to Triple-A to remain a starter, providing the Yankees with necessary rotation depth. Either way, Mitchell should see time with the Yankees in 2016.
