3. Gary Sanchez, C, 23 – Signed in July 2009 out of the Dominican Republic for $3 million

Gary Sanchez was a bit of a disappointment heading into the 2015 season. Most importantly, Sanchez’s work ethic had been in question. His talent, however, was never in question. And he showed off that talent throughout the 2015 season as well as during the 2015 Arizona Fall League. Thanks to his good 2015 campaign, Sanchez has seemed to build his stock back up. He has excellent power and a powerful arm that can even make the top base stealers hesitate before at temping a steal. He can improve upon the rest of his defensive skill-set, but Sanchez is primed to return to the majors this season.
