Matt Harvey – SP

Matt Harvey fronts a rotation packed with immense talent, and is one of a few Mets pitchers who have a high likelihood of making the All-Star Game in 2016. Harvey pitched a full season in 2015 after returning from Tommy John surgery, and went 13-8 with a highly respectable 2.71 ERA. At least a few of those eight losses can be attributed to the Mets’ horrid offense in the first half of the season, in which fans went so far as to create a “Go Fund Me” account to raise money for the acquisition of a hitter. The “Dark Knight” of New York is in a contract year in 2016 (arbitration eligible), and with an improved offense should put on quite the show this season, and potentially be pitching in San Diego in the Major League Baseball All-Star Game.
