Jarred Cosart had a rough year in 2015. He was stricken with bouts of vertigo which made it very difficult for him to find the strike zone. He was limited to 69.2 innings in 2015, but the Marlins expect him to be a major part of the rotation in 2016.
Cosart is now free of his vertigo symptoms, but he collided with third baseman Martin Prado during his first Grapefruit League start. He limped off the field after an effective two innings, and while there was originally some concern, Cosart seems to be fine and will return to game action this week.
