A nasty knee injury ended Kang’s breakout rookie season early, but don’t expect that same injury to hold him back for long. He has a good shot at being ready opening day. This, paired with his immense power and SS eligibility in most leagues, makes him a very intriguing buy low candidate. You can expect anything from 15-20 Homers, 60-70 Runs and RBIs, and a .250-.300 season out of Kang, as he’ll look to only improve on a solid rookie season by proving he can rake even more.
Verdict: Buy! 20 HR power out of SS and his name isn’t Correa or Seager, he’ll be a late round steal despite injury concerns.
