5. Gregory Polanco, OF, Pittsburgh Pirates
Of all the players mentioned on this list, Gregory Polanco is really the only one who didn’t have performance or injury issues in 2015. Polanco played in almost all of the Pirates game, and was a 2.3 fWAR player last season. Despite his decent season last year, Polanco should still be interesting to watch in 2016 due to his breakout potential.

Going into his first season in 2014, Polanco was accompanied by lofty expectations. Given the success of Andrew McCutchen, and to some extent Starling Marte, Polanco was expected to be the third great player making up perhaps the best outfield in all of baseball. Even with his solid season in 2015, Polanco has fallen well short of those projections. Despite that, Polanco is still only 24 years old, with at least some potential still left untapped. Polanco still has plenty of time to meet his projections, and 2016 could be a career year for the right fielder in Pittsburgh

With the Chicago Cubs having one of the best offseasons in all of baseball, the Pirates will need all they can get from all of their players, especially Polanco. Both Andrew McCutchen and Starling Marte have proven to be two of the best outfielders in all of baseball In 2016, Polanco could be next in line in Pittsburgh.
