2. Only four pitchers since 1901 have had a season in which they threw at least 200 innings and recorded a K/9 above 11.0 and a BB/9 below 2.0. Both Clayton Kershaw and Chris Sale achieved this feat last season. Before 2015, Pedro Martinez was the only other pitcher to attain this accomplishment, doing it in back-to-back seasons in 1999 and 2000. Chris Sale, 26 at the time, was the youngest of the group to achieve this. (h/t Baseball Reference)
