4. Since 1901, three players have had seasons where they recorded 200 or more hits and struck out five times or less. The last to accomplish this feat was Joe Sewell in 1925 when he had 204 hits and struck out only four times the entire season. The other two players to achieve this were Charlie Hollocher (1922) and Willie Keeler (1901). These three men will probably stand alone for a long time as this feat would be nearly impossible to achieve in today’s game. (h/t baseball reference)
