5. This might be the most meaningless stat of the group, but only two pitchers since 1913 have struck out at least 12 hitters while also hitting at least three hitters. Jim Bunning completed this “feat” for the Phillies against the Dodgers on July 27, 1966. It should be noted that he threw 11 innings that game. The other pitcher to do this was Randy Johnson for the Mariners against the Red Sox on April 10, 1998. (h/t baseball reference)
