For the back half of last year, Wilmer Flores was the darling of Major League Baseball. After visibly crying on the field as rumors swirled of him being traded to Milwaukee, the whole baseball world was cheering for Flores. In storybook fashion, two days after the trade that never happened Flores walked off for the Mets and proceeded to go on a pretty nice hot streak to close out the year.

The clock has struck midnight though on the cinderella story, and Flores has been inept offensively this year. He has not gotten as many at-bats this year due to acquisitions of Asdrubal Cabrera and Neil Walker coupled with a healthy David Wright but he has to start making the most of at-bats when he gets them.
