The Toronto Blue Jays have acquired right-handed pitcher Jason Grilli from the Atlanta Braves in exchange for Sean Ratcliffe, according to industry sources.

Grilli, 39, has been in the big leagues for 14 seasons and has been with the Braves since 2015.

In 2016, Grilli has struggled, but he’s pitched better of late, going 1-2 with a 5.29 ERA and a 23/13 strikeout-to-walk ratio.

Ratcliffe, 21, was drafted by the Blue Jays in the 18th round of the 2013 MLB draft.

In 2015, Ratcliffe went 2-2 with a 3.60 ERA and a 30/16 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
