3. David Ortiz has overshadowed teammate, Xander Bogaerts, this season. Ortiz has had a spectacular season and deserves the attention he is garnering. However, Bogaerts should be getting more attention. He currently leads baseball with a .351 batting average and he is only 23 years old. How impressive is that? He would be only the seventeenth player since 1901 to bat .350 or higher at the age of 23 or younger. Oh, and by the way, he also leads all position players in fWAR this season. Not bad for a 23-year-old.
