4. Clayton Kershaw is really, really good. It has been well-documented and I hate to beat this point to death, but he is too good to not mention. There are so many statistics to pick from that would make you go “wow.” I picked one that I felt illustrated just how good Kershaw is and how he is actually getting better, somehow. His SwStr% this season is 16.4 percent, which would would be the best SwStr% by a pitcher in baseball history. He already has the second highest SwStr% last season, 15.9 percent. Somehow he is topping that this season. When all is said and done, Kershaw could very well be the greatest pitcher ever.
