With the New York Yankees barely able to stay at .500, will they be looking to trade one of their most valuable assets? For the right price they will, according to Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post. Janes tweeted on Monday that Andrew Miller could be traded if the Yankees are “blown away” with the deal.
Miller said Yanks told him if something blew them away, they would take it.

Miller also stated he was never “safe” when it comes to a possible trade.
FWIW, for those with an eye on the bullpen trade market, Andrew Miller said Yankees never told him he wouldn’t be traded.

Miller has two years left on his contract so the Yankees shouldn’t be forced to trade him right away. Even though he’s had a good year (1.39 ERA with 69 strikeouts in 39 innings) and was selected as an All-Star this year, Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman should be more focused on trying to deal flamethrower Aroldis Chapman and veteran outfielder Carlos Beltran, who are both in the final year of their contracts.
